Work
Started building some crypto projects, but it looks like a long time before faith returns to the market. Nonetheless, it is a space that spells the future, and I think that there are a tons of opportunities here.
At the same time, I'm also in the midst of starting a gym. It's a stab at the 24/7 gym model. Hope it works out.
Productivity
12 Week Year
Read half the book. Changing the definition of what a year is - from 12 months to 12 weeks. It was always an arbitrary amount of time anyways. A compressed timeframe allows for more realistic and sustainable planning, and more opportunities to assess my progress.
I'll be doing weekly (or should I say monthly) reviews.
Tracker & Mind Vault
Attempting to balance both my professional and personal better will require planning. I'm using notion as both a planner and a repository for my thoughts, kind of like a virtual mind vault or palace.
I liked how used notion to organise his life. I have started personalising mine based on his design.
Reading
Agatha Christie
I fell in love with Hercule Poirot when I watched Murder On the Orient Express. I strive to read all her books in chronological order. Incidentally, the first time I heard of Agatha Christie was in a rather gloomy buzzfeed unsolved episode.
The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy
I have always been rather stoic. I never characterised it before. I was familiar with the term, but only recently attributed it to myself. In a bid to understand how my mind functions, and to better explain my behaviour to my loved ones, it would be a good idea to read a couple of books on stoicism.
How to Live , by Derek Sivers
Derek Siver's blog was a massive inspiration for me building this site. Just scanning through his blog, I resonate a lot with the way he approaches life. I look forward to reading his most recent book: How To Live.
I Got Engaged!
I proposed to my soulmate in Matera, Italy in April, 2022. Went better than I could have expected. She didn't suspect a thing.
We're getting married (solemnised) in Singapore on the 22nd of February, 2022. Wedding will be on 21st Octover 2022.
Based in Singapore
Early 2022 was spent in Europe. Coming home again was bittersweet, but completely necessary for productivity, and the next chapter in my life.
